We offer health services to help women avoid future long-term health problems, improve their reproductive health and improve their well-being.

Women’s Health services include:

• Complete Contraception Care, including Intrauterine Contraceptive Device (IUD) Insertion/Removal
• Menstrual Issues, Pelvic Pain
• Antenatal and Post-natal Care
• Continence Care
• Cervical Screening
• Breast Health Checks
• Sexual Health Checks including Sexual Transmitted Disease (STD) testing, Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) for HIV
• Perimenopause/Menopause and Hormonal Imbalances
• Iron Infusion
• Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTP)

The gap fee for Women’s Health services ranges between $60 (short consultations) to $100 (long consultations) and is different from the standard gap fees levied by doctors at the practice.

It is recommended that a long consultation is booked for Women’s Health Services. Follow-up consultations will not be bulk-billed.

• Menopause consultations will incur a gap fee of $100 (30-minute consultation)
MTP Consultation will incur a gap fee of $200 for the initial consultation (45-minute consultation) with a gap fee of $100 for follow-up consultations
• Sexual Health Checks/PrEP consults will incur a $100 gap fee (at least a 30-minute appointment)
• IUD/Contraception/Iron Infusion – please refer the practice fee structure for details

Dr Jas Kaur (she/her)
Jas started her medical training in India in 1994. Since 2006, she has been working as a rural GP in Australia. She currently works in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.

Jas obtained her fellowship (FRACGP) in 2010 and completed a Diploma in Child Health in 2011. She has undertaken several professional development programs in women’s health and menopause with the Australasian Menopause Society. She has also completed training with ShineSA in sexual reproductive health (FPAA) in addition to certification in emergency medicine from the College of Emergency Medicine.

She is passionate about mind-body medicine and believes in the integration of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual approaches to reaching the optimum state of wellbeing.

Dr Alicia Stevenson (she/her)
Alicia completed her medical training at Flinders University and went on to obtain fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2019.
She has always had a keen interest in women’s health and enjoyed these rotations while working at Flinders Medical Centre . She obtained her Certificate of Women’s Health and Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2015.

Alicia has received extra training in intrauterine device insertions (IUD) and removals and provides obstetric shared care with the hospital.

Alicia looks forward to assisting her patients with their women’s health needs from contraception (including IUD), sexual health checks, menopause, pelvic pain, menstrual issues, breast symptoms and pre-pregnancy planning. She does not provide medical terminations of pregnancy.
